CERTIFIED
PROPERTY MANAGER® (CPM®) Designation
The premier designation for real estate management professionals. If you manage
large portfolios of residential, commercial, retail, or industrial properties,
then you are ready for the CPM designation.
Key
changes to the CPM requirements include:
To attract newly graduated real estate students and others just entering
the industry to become Candidates, property management experience will not
be required to become a Candidate. However, three years of qualifying property
management experience will be needed to become a CPM.
There is now a required curriculum, eliminating confusion about which courses
to take.
The Candidate application has been streamlined so that it is less cumbersome
and the application fee has been divided between the CPM candidacy application
and the CPM designation application. More

ACCREDITED
RESIDENTIAL MANAGER® (ARM®) Certification
The certification for specialists in residential property management. If you
manage residential properties and your responsibility is primarily at the site
level, then the ARM certification may be right for you.
